We are proud to once again carry the Slovenia Green mark — the national symbol of sustainable tourism that brings together providers committed to responsible care for the environment, the local community and cultural heritage. This mark confirms that, for us, sustainability is not just a promise but part of how we work every day.
Our commitment is also confirmed by the international Green Key certificate, one of the leading environmental standards in hospitality and tourism. We manage water and energy carefully, collect rainwater, reduce waste and the use of plastic, use eco-friendly cleaning products, and give priority to local, seasonal ingredients.
We have lived sustainability since childhood — it is not planned, but instilled. That is why certificates are not a goal for us, but a confirmation of the values we live by every day.

Careful water management
We use water thoughtfully and responsibly. We collect rainwater in a reservoir, which we use to water the vegetable and herb garden and the flower beds, and to flush the toilets. We regularly monitor our water use and look for ways to reduce it. Every drop is a precious part of the environment we live in.
Responsible energy use
We use energy efficiently and prudently. Alongside energy-saving equipment and LED lighting, we have invested in our own solar power plant and a battery energy storage system, reducing the energy we draw from the grid and our impact on the environment.
Less waste, less plastic
We pay special attention to reducing waste. We separate and recycle waste, cut down on single-use plastic, and give priority to more durable, environmentally friendlier solutions. We also try to extend the life of paper and cardboard through creative reuse, turning them into decorative and useful objects such as lamps and vases.
Natural, eco-friendly cleaning products
For cleaning we use products with a lower environmental impact, while maintaining high standards of hygiene and a pleasant environment for our guests and staff.
Local and seasonal on the plate
Our cuisine is built on ingredients from the surrounding area. We work with local farmers, growers and artisans and give priority to seasonal produce. In this way we support the local economy, reduce transport, and offer guests the authentic flavours of our region.
